TYPE OF INDONESIAN VISA and INDEX NO
Based on Director General for
Immigration Regulation 2006, under the New Decree Article 4.1, VISA Clasified
into 4 Types;
1.
TRANSIT
VISA ( Index 111)
This Visa is
Valid for a Maximum period of 14 days, except in accordance with authorization
from Immigration authority in Indonesia
Transit visa is
applied for all aspects of transit solely for the purpose of continues air and
sea passage to another part of destination, on board with air or sea cargo in
Indonesia territory, and emergancy situation that causes suspension of passage
in relation to vessels, weather and other causes
2.
SINGLE
VISIT VISA ( Index 211)
This Visa is
available for a single visit only
and valid for a maximum period 60 days, except in accordance with authorization
from immigration authorization in Indonesia
3.
TEMPORARY
STAY VISA
This visa is
available for working and other non working purposes)
Temporary Stay visa for working Purposes may include;
·
Working as the World Trade Organization (
WTO)expert with temporary stay permit for maximum period of 2 years length of
stay (Index 311)
·
Working as expert with temporary stay permit for
a maximum period of 1 year length of stay (Index
312), in the field of (i) cooperation between private and Govt of Indonesia, (ii) cooperation
between NGO and Govt of Indonesia, (iii) working on borad of the vessels
operating in the archipelagic Water, Territorial Sea,or instalation plotted in
Continental Shelf as well as Ecenomic Exclusive zona of Indonesia, bearing
temporary stay permit, (iv) missionary, (v) professional activities, (vi)
participating on commercial international exhibition, (vii) providing education
and training in the application and innovation of technology for capacity
building on national industryand ,(ix) commercial Film making
Temporary Stay Visa for others non working purposes may include;

Foreign Direct Investor with Temporary Stay
Permit for a maximum period of 1 year (
Index313)
·
Foreign Direct Investor with Temporary Stay
Permit for a maximum period of 2 year (Index
314)
·
Participating in Training, or research with
temporary stay permit for a maximum period of 1 year ( Index 315)
·
Undertaking Education with temporary stay permit for a maximum period of 2 year ( Index 316)
·
Familly Reunion with temporary stay permit for a maximum period of 1 year (
Index 317)
·
Repatriation
with temporary stay permit for a maximum period of 1 year (
Index 318)
·
Elderly with temporary stay permit for a maximum
period of 1 year ( Index 319)
4.
MULTIPLE VISIT VISA (Index 212)
This Visa is
available for visitors who require several visits to Indonesia and valid for a
maximum period of 1 year with no more than 60 days per every visit, except in
accordance with authorization from immigration Authority in Indonesia
5.
VISA ON ARRIVAL ( Index 213)
This Visa is
available for visitors of certain countries upon arrival in the designated Indonesian
seaport or airport. The visa is Valid for a maximum period of 30 days
Index 211, 212, 213
are applied for non working purposes.
