Anyway we still have time to be productive and have a fund weekend on this Sunday
well, I am frequently asked by expatriates on how the visa work permit is processed. From our record. The normal ranges spans 19 working days if everything goes well.
The most common problem was very embarrassing. Once upon the time,the immigration office got the form ran out. therefore it took 3 days to have the form ready. consequently the completion time to this process was delayed
Let me turn my attention to the process ;
1. Once all the above documents ( see my earlier article on legal requirement) are received, the agency will immediately begin processing it. Starting with the placement of foreign workers plans (RPTKA) approved, arrange TA.01 (recommendation letter from Man Power Departement to Immigration department in order to process working visa), pay government levy and manage of the foreign applicant entry into Indonesia (Telex VISA). The first part of this process takes approximately 14 working days
2. After telex VISA released, the immigration will send it to the Embassy in the country that can take care of a designated foreign applicant Visa to enter Indonesia immediately. I highly recommend that VISA is administered immediately after telex VISA’s released therefore the letter does not accumulate in the Embassy. Long process depending on the respective Embassy and maintenance by applicant.
3. After VISA’s obtained, the foreign applicant should immediately go to Indonesia. Within 7 days after the visa is released, the foreign applicant should immediately report his arrival to agency so that The Agency can directly take care of other documents.
4. The next document which is taken care of is, KITAS ( Limited stay permit card). It will take approximately 5 working days.
5. Next, The Agency will take care of the other documents in parallel. The document is the IMTA (approval from Man power and Transmigration regarding Foreign employment approval), a letter from the Police Headquarters, foreign Applicant domicile of the local department of civil, SKPPS ( certificate of registration for temporary residence).
That's the process of Visa - Work Permit in Indonesia where I used to arrange the visa process for my foreign skilled labors whom they were assigned in Indonesian company for contractual base.
