INDONESIAN HOLIDAY 2015







This might be a good news for you buddy, through out this year 2015, our government has decided that 19  national holidays will be yours to enjoy long weekend and holiday. yups... while living In Indonesia, take your time to make good use of these holidays. 
In addition to that, the collective leaves are  also set up to create long weekend as the  leaves are falling usually on Monday or Friday before or after a national holidays.      

This Policy benefited to either People or Government, people may take a much needed break to improve their mental health, to revamp their relationships, to recapture their childhood, to gain self confidence, to find creative inspiration, above all to be more productive, while the government intends this policy help promote domestic tourism. So would you like to escape from the hectic life?... take your vacation and maximize your enjoyment.

Commonly, we have 4 types of holidays
  1. Religious Holiday (RH)
  2. National Holiday (NH)
  3. International Holiday (IH)
  4. Commemorative Holidays (CH)
A date which is designated in red on a calendar signifies  national holidays when government offices, schools, banks, and most businesses are closed.

The religious holiday date  falls vary from year to year because they are based on other calender. the date of Moslem holidays may not be confirmed until a few days before as these are based on Islamic or Hijriah Kalender, which is  around 10 days shorter than roman calender every year.

Nyepi, Balinese New year or literally as day of silence is observed on the Bali island. for this reason, the airport will closed for 24 hours.

Banks usually closes for a week and the business may close up to two weeks if Eidl Al Fitr occurred in a such the largest Moslems country i the world like Indonesia
